This handcrafted dreamcatcher was born from the spirit of Matariki, the Māori New Year, a time to pause, reflect on those we've lost, and look ahead with renewed hope and intention. Lovingly made in my New Zealand studio, it carries the warmth of handmade creation and the deep meaning of this cherished season.

At the heart of this piece is Hiwa-i-te-rangi, the star of hopes, dreams, and wishes for the year ahead. Just as dreamcatchers are believed to filter out the negative and hold onto the good, this piece is a gentle reminder to trust in what is still to come and to keep moving forward, one step, one star at a time.

  • Size: The stars come in different size, with the largest being 16 cm and smallest 4 cm. Custom made sizes are available upon request.
  • Colour palette: Our signature NZ wool blend felt comes in a wide spectrum of colours, threaded onto a sparkling white gold thread. Choose between standard colour combinations, or create your own customised vision with a sequence that is uniquely yours.
  • Materials: Our wool blend felt is curated to provide a warm Matariki feeling. The driftwood comes from the beautiful Wellington beaches and is one of a kind. This makes your piece unique and one of a kind.
  • Handmade: Every product is unique and handmade to order in New Zealand.
